Our Story
SmartHeal was born from the bedside. Founded by Santosh Kaur, a clinician with 17 years of healthcare experience who saw first-hand how paper rulers, subjective assessments, and fragmented documentation were failing patients with chronic wounds.
She set out to build what she could not find on the market: an Australian-developed, clinician-led wound care platform that uses AI to support objective measurement, wound documentation, and longitudinal documentation.
SmartHeal is 100% Australian-owned and operated. All data stays in Australia via AWS Sydney. Every AI output is reviewed by a clinician. The platform is built as a Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS), keeping the clinician in control at every step.
